Winner Spotlight

Ryan was one of the first contributors, and by complete luck of the draw, won big money for his student loans! He was our first winner so we were a bit anxious to make the call, but it was awesome to let him know he won $5,000 towards his loans. Turns out that was the equivalent of 50 months worth of payments!

How does it feel to be the first Student Loan Club Giveaway winner?
I never win anything so this is unreal! I still don’t believe it and it seems too good to be true, but I just won $5000 for my student loans!

Why did you choose to enter the giveaway?
When I came across Student Loan Club it was a no brainer to join. A chance to win money to my student loans!? I was spending $10 a week on coffee anyway, I figured what did I have to lose. So I signed up and told all my friends who had loans to join up, too.

What has your experience with student loans been like?
Student loans have definitely impacted my life in a negative way. Sure, they gave me the ability  to go to college, but the debt I’m left with is keeping me from saving and doing the things I want to do like traveling and giving back.

I can't believe I won! This takes care of more than 50 student loan payments for me! Amazing!!

What led you to check out Student Loan Club?
I overheard someone talking about the Club and figured it was too good to be true. I looked into it a little more, everything seemed pretty straight forward, and it sounded like a great idea. The more members they have, the more they give back. I read the FAQ’s and the rules and I joined up that day.

What does this win mean for you?
I finally have a little breathing room and I can start saving more! $5,000 is the equivalent of 50 months of payments to my student loan servicer!

How will this win change your life?
I have my loans under control and am fortunate enough to have a secure job, but winning this $5000 is an amazing feeling! Student loans can make you feel helpless at times and this was a real pick-me up. As long as Student Loan Club is around, I’ll be a member to pay-it-forward.
